One of only a handful of the planet's great wilderness habitats, Nunavut is a world of contrast, complexity and delicate balance. From the rolling tundra and rushing rivers of the Western Barrenlands, to the majestic fjords, lofty mountains and immense glaciers in the North and East, Nunavut is 2.1 million square miles of enthralling adventure, fascinating quests, and unique delights. It is home to some 28,000 people, living in 28 communities and boasts some of the most pristine parks and rivers systems in the world.
